Eider drake

Eider Ducks are large marine ducks that are gregarious and are often found in large flocks. They are found along northern European coasts and in lakes and rivers from Russia through to northern Britain. They are diving ducks and dive for crustacea and mussels.

The Eider drake is shown swimming and is sculpted from lime tinted with chinese ink stick and finished with wax. It is 13 cm (approx. 5") in length and is signed by the artist.
