Smew

Smew are small, shy, sawbill ducks usually found in pairs or in small groups in clear lakes and rivers, and often together with Goldeneyes. The Smew drake is a distinctive elegant white duck with black markings.

This Smew drake is sculpted from lime tinted with chinese ink stick and finished with wax. It is 11 cm (approx. 4.5") in length and is signed by the artist.
