Bewick's Swan 4

Bewick's Swans are smaller than Mute or Whooper swans but still large birds. They breed in the Arctic tundra but migrate south to northern Europe in the winter. The Bewick's Swans were designed from drawings and photos made at WWT Slimbridge.

This Bewick's Swan is sculpted from lime tinted with chinese ink stick and finished with wax. It is 12.5 cm (5") in length and is signed by the artist.
