Whooper Swan 1

Whooper Swans are very large swans, similar in size to Mute swans, and breeding in the tundra of northern Europe, but migrate to open waters in north west Europe. Similar to a Bewick’s swan but larger and the bill is mainly yellow with a black tip.

This Whooper Swan is sculpted from lime tinted with chinese ink stick and finished with wax. It is 13 cm (5.25") in length and is signed by the artist.
